JV company MOU: Iktisas Oman LLC

On 10th January 2012, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between University of Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman and Iktisas Ingenieurs Sdn Bhd, for the formation of a Joint Venture company, namely, Iktisas Oman LLC.

University of Nizwa was represented by Prof. Dr Abdulaziz bin Yahya Al Kindi (Deputy Principal for Academic Affairs) and Prof. Dr. Waleed Abdulmalik Thanoon (Dean, College of Engineering), whilst Ir. Azme Idris and Ir. Wan Ahmad Nizar represented Iktisas Ingenieurs Sdn Bhd.

Please take note that our office will operate from 8:00am to 4:30pm during this Ramadan, beginning from 1st August and ends on 31st August. Iktisas shall operate as usual beginning 1st September 2011.

20th Year Grand Dinner

Iktisas Group of Companies celebrated its 20^th year with a grand dinner at Restoran Seri Melayu, Jalan Conlay, Kuala Lumpur. The function, held on Friday night, April 2, 2010, drew more than 300 staff and guests.

The dinner provided an ideal venue for an historic moment for Iktisas, the introduction of a new corporate image. Ir Azme Idris, accompanied by all Iktisas Group of Companies’ directors, officially launched the new corporate image with “paluan kompang” and special effects. It was a moment to remember—drawing applause from the audience and tears in some.

The Board of Directors also took the opportunity to present long service awards to loyal staffs, those who have served the company for more than 15 years. The five recipients of the award were Pn Alina, En Malek, En Yusri, En Baharin, and Pn Zarina. Tn Hj Ir Azme, the Chairman, presented the awards to the recipients.
